Pink Cotton Counseling is currently in network with BCBS PPO, Blue Choice, and Aetna PPO insurance Plans.
Have a different insurance? Not a problem, Pink Cotton Counseling is also an out of network provider. Which means you will be charged for the session at the time of service, but I will provide the necessary documentation to get possible reimbursement from your insurance.
Regardless of your coverage, I recommend that you contact your insurance to verify a few details. Medical insurance, especially insurance for mental health benefits, can be a bit confusing. Here are some suggestions to ask when you call so you know what to expect in terms of coverage:
Do I have a carve out for mental health benefits? (Sometimes insurance is tricky, and your plan for your medical coverage may be completely different than your mental health!)
Do I have out-of-network coverage?
Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it? What happens when I meet my deductible?
Do I have a copay or coinsurance? If so, what is it?
Do you cover CPT code 90791? Do you require prior authorization?
Do you cover CPT code 90837? Do you require prior authorization?
